— too bold, too big, to far: Unrealized artworks become visible. Artists from all over connect.
While mobility is restricted, borders and distances are clearly perceptible and existential uncertainties
are omnipresent, more artistic works than ever remain in the state of planning. Whether it fails due to
lack of time, space or money or accompanies your artistic work for years as bold dream — we are looking
for your projects, which have not (yet) made it beyond their state as an idea, concept, draft or prototype.
With this exhibition we want to open up a space and visibility in terms of concepts, sketches, drafts, plans
and photographs. These papers will be presented at the art space BLECH. in Halle, Germany.
At the same time, despite current challenges and immobility, this format allows to present
and bring international artists together. Since many things cannot take place on location and in person,
there will be an online programm additional to the exhibtion. For an exchange and encounters, the
participating artists and their work will be presented and discussed on a digital platform.

STATEMENT
My work draws from memories, loss, longing... In my pictures I try to make connection and closeness tangible but also to reveal a familiar, deeper meaning. My photography is mostly quiet and doesn’t dictate or claim. A lot of it navigates along the borders of representation, and I’m interested in things that are very real but difficult to define, like distance, absence, a more collective state of urgency. Those things are hard to talk about. It’s tricky to verbalize states of mind or being. There has to be fusion to a language like that.
At some point we all realize that everything is transitory. Photography is my way of making life a little more permanent. It is my way of reinforcing and synchronizing my vision and my feelings by connecting the dots and finding links between arbitrary events or patterns within the chaos.

We asked ...
How do you record your ideas for new works and projects?
Instinctively. My work is very personal. A constant stream of ideas is inspired by the values I hold dear.
What makes unrealized projects and works special to you?
Unrealized projects are like a secret kept inside myself. Even inside my own room, they feel like small travels to where everything is possible.
