— too bold, too big, to far: Unrealized artworks become visible. Artists from all over connect.
While mobility is restricted, borders and distances are clearly perceptible and existential uncertainties
are omnipresent, more artistic works than ever remain in the state of planning. Whether it fails due to
lack of time, space or money or accompanies your artistic work for years as bold dream — we are looking
for your projects, which have not (yet) made it beyond their state as an idea, concept, draft or prototype.
With this exhibition we want to open up a space and visibility in terms of concepts, sketches, drafts, plans
and photographs. These papers will be presented at the art space BLECH. in Halle, Germany.
At the same time, despite current challenges and immobility, this format allows to present
and bring international artists together. Since many things cannot take place on location and in person,
there will be an online programm additional to the exhibtion. For an exchange and encounters, the
participating artists and their work will be presented and discussed on a digital platform.

ABOUT
I am a young Cuban artist, who obtained her degree in La Universidad de las Artes de Cuba (ISA). My work has been presented in national events such as the 12TH and 13TH Havana Biennials, and has been exhibited in prestigious galleries in my Country, such as La Acacia and Casa 8. I have won awards, and I have been the winner of an exchange residency with Tranzit.hu. Outside the country I have present my work at festivals in the US and Canada, as well as it has been exhibited at events in other countries such as Mexico, Colombia and Germany.
STATEMENT
I am fascinated by analyzing human behaviors and the conditions to which individuals are relegated within their systems. The way they digest and reinvent their environment shows the nature of the power the power relations to which they are subjected. I also recycle their habitat from them; and sometimes these spaces are modified or transplanted in a gesture that makes several contexts coexist in one.
We asked ...
What do the terms 'possible' and 'impossible' mean in the context of your artistic practice?
I don’t believe in impossible projects, I just think that there are moments in life when it is not possible to convert ideas to concrete events. I believe in dreams and that these can become reality with hard work and perseverance, the project that are presented to me today as a dream are the goals of my tomorrow.
What makes unrealized projects and works special to you?
Unrealized projects are highly special ideas for me, because they become long-term goals.
