STATEMENT

In a generalized covid-19 crisis, the body's perception never ceases to try to extract any kind of certainty. Uncertainties, however, prevail. "I prefer to measure humans with the parameter of misery and exhaustion.”, Said Hijikata Tatsumi in his last speech. Faced with the immeasurable chaos of today's life, everything we can measure it is the intensity of what we feel. In this case, it is no longer trying to understand what is happening to the world, just to measure everything you feel. (keep breathing)

We asked ...

What role do unrealized projects play in your artistic practice?

Unfulfilled work means the creative trajectory of the thought between creating and making.

How has the situation of the last months changed your artistic work?
Nowadays, unfulfilled projects have a new meaning. In times of pandemic, anxiety rebounds in creativity because priorities are always being revised. This review of thoughts runs through art all the time because not only are they related to artistic making - like creating in a shared studio - but a review of role of art in your life.

What does failure mean for your artistic work?
Failure means being open to the possibilities. In different fields of life, the duality of making mistakes and getting it right can be understood as something tangible. In art, this duality seems more like criticism than creation.
