STATEMENT

Since I found this soul landscape, or it found me, it keeps whispering stories into my ear. Stories of earthly survival, another branch, another connection.
Donna Haraway says „Nothing is connected to everything. Everything is connected to something.“.
And everthing has a story, a history, her_story. But we know and care so little about the stories around us, the song of a landscape, the knowledge of the other beings that inhabit it. And what we know often stays in little boxes called science. The agave, who would have guessed that it has a colonial heritage? The dorade, who would have known that they are gender-fluid? The beautiful coastline, who thinks that the ground is poisoned? The seagulls, how do they live together? And what are all those queers doing here?
We are all on the same island. And if we look carefully, maybe we can find the fine strings that connect all those stories. What can they teach us? What can we learn for earthly survival? How can we become responsible?
